A bunch of golfers play a tournament every year in Vermont, USA. We like the Stableford format for a number of reasons, I quite frankly don't remember the reasons, but we still play and enjoy this format.

The down side is, as the tournament membership grows, the more arduous the task becomes of calculating the scores using the Stableford System. So SamsGolfCalculator was born!

This 'calculator' is a computer program that can be downloaded, free of charge, to your computer. So at the end of the day, who ever is doing the scoring can use this program to quickly, and accurately, calculate the points for each player. It takes about 30 seconds to enter one player's score for an 18 hole round.

You can also use it just to check gross scores (sometimes we humans make mistakes).
